Residents: Charlotte, hoping for eggs again this year, Charlotte
can be heard singing on most nights. For the Khmers it's good
luck to have one of these giants in residence, if she barks
more than 7 times in a row, then that's good fortune for business,
less than 7 bodes ill. On my first night she barked 14 healthy
barks through the night. She lives happily in the wall of the
outside toilet. |
